My practice, with a special focus on ADHD, Autism, and co-occurring mental and physical health challenges, is deeply aware of the complexities of neurodivergence and a broad spectrum of cultural experiences. As a global citizen with extensive understanding of diverse cultural identities and the issues that may emerge, I bring a distinctive approach to counselling that incorporates elements of both Western and Asian cultures, among others.
In my approach, I acknowledge and respect the connections between neurodivergence and various identity aspects, such as gender fluidity and polyamorous relationships. I provide a non-judgmental environment where all dimensions of identity and lifestyle are recognised and supported, recognising that each person's path is unique.
Addressing Toxic Relationships: My work also involves helping individuals identify and navigate toxic relationships that may be impacting their well-being. These relationships are often marked by patterns of manipulative behaviour, emotional volatility, and subtle sabotage, which can profoundly affect one's mental health and daily functioning. By recognising these patterns, clients can begin to understand the impact on their lives and develop strategies to establish healthier boundaries and relationships.
My clients range from 10 to 60+ years old, coming from diverse backgrounds, each with their own narrative and experiences.
Dedicated to assisting individuals at different stages of the diagnostic process, my practice offers significant validation and self-discovery.
Some clients achieve satisfaction through counselling alone, without the need for an official diagnosis, while others seek guidance to navigate the diagnostic path and strategies to cope with their life challenges. Many engage in therapy to work through post-diagnostic grief, address feelings of marginalisation and victimisation, or adjust to changes in their relationships. I provide strategies that are customised to each individual's learning style and needs, helping manage life's hurdles and executive function difficulties.
I am committed to delivering inclusive and personalised support, finely attuned to the nuances of cultural identity, neurodivergence, and relationships. My dedication is steadfast to those who may have felt marginalised, misunderstood, or victimised, ensuring their experiences are acknowledged and their empowerment supported.

At Safe and Sound Counselling, my commitment is to provide empathetic and knowledgeable support to individuals who may feel overwhelmed, frustrated, or misunderstood due to their marginalized status.
My practice is centered around a deep understanding of the diverse contexts of my clients’ lives. I am dedicated to offering support that acknowledges and respects the unique identities and experiences of each individual. This encompasses a range of areas, including navigating cultural identity issues, understanding neurodivergence, exploring family dynamics within the context of marginalization, or addressing trauma.
My goal is to create a space where all aspects of your identity are not only understood and respected but celebrated as integral parts of your journey toward well-being.
This inclusive approach extends to private clients as well as plan-managed or self-managed NDIS participants, ensuring accessible and tailored support for all.

Creativity and music can play a huge role in well-being as does social interaction, and a feeling of belonging and community.
Using my 20+ years experience as a DJ (performing and teaching), I plan to operate group music appreciation workshops, help clients with the expressive arts in the form of DJing lessons, and other music and wellbeing related initiatives
For adolescents and adults. All diversity is welcomed: neurodivergent, neurotypical, culturally or gender diverse. With lived experience, the therapeutic presence and empathetic attunement can be made even stronger. NDIS self & plan managed clients welcomed!
